• Crewmate: The primary goal of a Crewmate is to complete various tasks on the map, such as scanning bodies or repairing electrical systems. Crewmates must also observe other players’ behavior to identify the Impostor. Crewmates need to collaborate to complete all tasks to achieve victory.

• Impostor: The goal of the Impostor is to secretly sabotage tasks and eliminate Crewmates without being discovered. Impostors can fake tasks, sabotage systems, impersonate other players, and use strategies and deceit to confuse others. Impostors have special abilities like Venting and sudden attacks.

2. Game Mechanics:

• Maps: The game offers multiple maps with unique layouts and tasks, including but not limited to “The Skeld,” “MIRA HQ,” and “Polus.”
• Task System: Each map has multiple tasks to complete. Crewmates need to finish these tasks to win. Tasks include fixing power systems, cleaning garbage, checking samples, etc.
• Meetings and Voting: When a player finds a body or presses the emergency button, the game enters a meeting phase. Players can discuss suspects and vote to eject the suspected Impostor. Voting results affect the game progress.

3. Chat and Communication:

Communication in the game is crucial. Players use meetings and chat features to collaborate or accuse each other. Good communication skills can help Crewmates find the Impostor or help Impostors deceive others.

1. Strategies for Crewmates:

• Focus on Completing Tasks: Crewmates’ primary goal is to complete tasks on the map to achieve victory. Try to delegate tasks among the team to ensure quick completion.
• Observe Behavior: Pay attention to other players’ behavior patterns. If a player’s movements are unusual or they try to sabotage tasks, they might be an Impostor.
• Use Security Cameras and Door Systems: On some maps, security cameras can monitor other players’ actions. If you see someone entering restricted areas or acting suspiciously, they might be the Impostor.
• Avoid Solo Actions: Try to move with other players to reduce the risk of being attacked by the Impostor and to provide more evidence in meetings.

2. Strategies for Impostors:

• Disguise and Pretend: Impostors need to blend in with Crewmates and pretend to complete tasks. Choose to act with other players to avoid suspicion and prevent isolation.
• Choose the Right Timing for Actions: Impostor attacks and sabotage should be performed out of other players’ sight to minimize detection risk. Sabotage systems in areas where players cannot immediately access.
• Manipulate Discussions: In meetings, try to steer the discussion away from yourself. If someone suspects you, attempt to shift the focus and present reasonable counterarguments.
• Utilize Impostor’s Special Abilities: Use the Venting ability to move quickly and avoid leaving evidence. The fake task feature can help maintain a clean image in the eyes of other players.

3. Teamwork and Strategy:

• Crewmate Cooperation: Crewmates should collaborate to complete tasks and share information during meetings. Collective discussion and voting increase the chance of identifying the Impostor.
• Impostor Strategy: Impostors should create confusion, disrupt tasks, and try to eliminate Crewmates without leaving evidence. Team Impostors can work together to perform more effective sabotage and deception.
