Introduction

“Five Nights at Freddy’s” (FNAF) is a survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon and released in 2014. The game is set in a fictional pizza restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, similar to Chuck E. Cheese’s, designed for children. In the game, players take on the role of a night security guard who must survive five nights in a restaurant populated by animatronic characters.

   • Bonnie the Bunny: He primarily attacks from the left side. Bonnie often appears in the left hallway, so keep an eye on the left camera and close the left door when he gets close.
   • Chica the Chicken: She primarily attacks from the right side. Chica shows up in the right hallway, so monitor the right camera and close the right door when she approaches.
   • Foxy the Pirate Fox: Foxy attacks from the left Pirate Cove. His behavior differs from the other animatronics; he gradually comes out of Pirate Cove and rushes to the security office. If he gets close, quickly close the left door to prevent his attack.
2. Manage Power Wisely:
   • Power is a crucial resource for survival. Each use of cameras, door closures, or lights consumes power. Learn to balance these resources to avoid running out of power too early. When the power runs out, the security office doors will automatically open, allowing all animatronics to enter.
3. Effective Use of Cameras:
   • You don’t need to constantly monitor all cameras. Focus on the areas where animatronics frequently appear. Switching cameras in a timely manner will provide you with updated information on their positions, allowing you to react accordingly.
4. Anticipate Animatronic Actions:
   • Different animatronics have different attack patterns. Understanding these patterns helps you devise better defensive strategies. For example, Foxy will accelerate his attacks as the night progresses, so you need to preemptively close the left door to prevent his assault.
5. Stay Calm:
   • Despite the game’s tense atmosphere, staying calm is key to success. Anxiety can lead to mistakes, making it easier to run out of power or miss animatronic movements.
