Troubleshooting Xbox Remote Play

1) If you are encountering problems with Xbox Remote Play, follow the setup instructions for Xbox Remote Play provided here.

*Please remember that you must complete the initial setup on the same network as your console.

2) Ensure your phone and Xbox app are running the latest updates.

3) For remote play with the Xbox, a minimum internet connection of 7Mbps is required, but for the best experience, a speed of 15Mbps or higher is optimal. This means the Xbox should have an upstream connection of at least that speed; make sure that your ISP’s upload speed is sufficient for the Xbox’s connection.

4) You will require a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection or Ethernet. Although 2.4 GHz networks can function, they are not optimized for game streaming, even if the speeds are sufficient.

5) Uninstall and then reinstall the Remote Play app.
